The squeeze factor sets how wide your final frame gets — and how demanding the lens is. More squeeze = a wider, more "cinema" frame, but it wants a bigger sensor.

What does anamorphic squeeze actually do?
It optically compresses a wider horizontal view onto the sensor. You desqueeze in post to a wide cinemascope frame — and get oval bokeh and those horizontal streak flares as a bonus. See the desqueezed aspect live in the simulator.
Which one should most people buy?
The Sirui 1.33× 50mm if you're starting out or shoot Micro Four Thirds / APS-C — it's the easiest, cheapest way into a real anamorphic look. Step up to the Aurora 1.6× if you're full-frame and want autofocus.
Do I need a full-frame camera?
